The three main feature of Xiaomi MIUI 9 is Smart Assistant, Smart launcher and Image search. The second is Smart Assistant, Xiaomi's rival to Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa, but, as hinted at above, we could be waiting a while to pit it against its competitors. This one enables you to search nearly anything on your phone. There's also a pill shaped weather widget to the right of the clock on the home screen. This smart app launcher will suggest the users to launch apps based on the content on the screen. The company officials have not been proclaimed any details regarding the pricing and availability. The device will be offered in Black, Gold, and Pink. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar and comment in the section below if you have more queries on the same. What are your first impressions of MIUI 9?

All Xiaomi's Redmi and Mi devices that will get MIUI 9 update are divided into two phases.

Opening apps on your MIUI 9-running device will allegedly be way faster than what you might expect from MIUI 8 in the same scenario. However, it should be noted that this is the China Developer ROM, and as of now there is no surety on the Global ROM roll out. Like we said before, the device will debut on August 1 in China. MIUI is Xiaomi's first product, with the first version of the ROM launching all the way back in 2010. However, the Mi 1/1S and Mi 2A will get it too. Using the Mi AI Speaker app on your smartphone, you can also enable additional add-ons and plugins for the Mi AI Speaker. This can be useful in many cases and will make the MIUI user experience even better. Given that MIUI is traditionally not one of the lightest Android ROMs around, any improvement of the under-the-hood performance is welcome. Their MIUI OS too, has been around for many years and is quite unique.
