We don't know who is on that ship or why they are following her.

For Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo didn't provide any information other than a logo set on a black backdrop and the fact that it is "currently in development for Nintendo Switch". In other Marvel game news, two new trailers were released today for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, highlighting the many characters showing up for the latest iteration of the hit series.

Remember when somebody made a fan recreation of Metroid 2: Return of Samus and Nintendo made them take it down? So what are gamers going to be playing soon? Samus Returns does have amiibo support. Rocket League will only bolster the Nintendo Switch's already strong library of super fun multiplayer games when it comes out later this year. Unfortunately there are no details as to what role the amiibos will play in the upcoming game. Sakamoto mentioned that the "squishy" Metroid idea part came from the amiibo team, and he had his doubts that they could pull it off. GameStop, Best Buy and Target always allow shoppers to buy online and get games delivered on release day. Whether this has a tangible effect on the game remains to be seen. Samus is cited as the first female protagonist in a mainstream game ever, having first being introduced in 1986.

If Metroid Prime 4 does launch in 2018, Nintendo could discuss it in a video stream later this year or early next year.

In Odyssey, players roam massive kingdoms to collect Power Moons to power Mario's airship, The Odyssey. Everyone thought the Japanese gaming company would not be present in E3 2017, but the opposite happened, Nintendo successfully made noise in this year's gaming convention.

Another new feature is the ability to free-aim using complete 360 aiming instead of the standard eight-direction aiming that was present in the old Gameboy game.

This game is sort of a mystery. However, he also notes that Nintendo considers it "new" due to the action, controls, and new abilities. The fast pace of the original seems to be very much intact, with very little interruption during the gameplay aside from occasional cutscenes when running into Metroids, bosses or certain key landmarks.
