I've only spent a day with the new 2017 iMac with a 4k Retina display - and that's not enough time to take in one of the most powerful computers Apple has to offer. Finally, the 2017 iMac range kicks off at Rs 90900 for the 21.5-inch non-Retina model, Rs 107900 for the 21.5-inch Retina option, and Rs 148900 for the 27.5-inch Retina one. Kaby Lake is Intel's 7 generation processor which replaced the Skylake processors that were in the previous MacBook Pro. New iMacs will be upgradeable to 64GB of RAM on 27-inch configurations and 32GB RAM on the 21.5-inch models.

Apple says its new iMac Pro is its "most powerful Mac" and will cost $4,999. These two new 10.5 and 12.9 inch tablet models feature a new A10X Fusion processor that is 30% faster on paper than the latest A9X iPad Pro.

True Tone dynamically adjusts the white balance of the display to match the light around you for a more natural and accurate viewing experience and a wide color gamut enables iPad Pro to deliver digital cinema-standard colors.

The new iMac models will be available for pre-order starting from Monday via the official Apple website.

The company also provided its fans a glance at the forthcoming "iMac Pro" desktop that will commence delivering by the end of 2017. The 27-inch 5k can be configured with Radeon Pro 570, 575, and 580 graphics.

"Today iMac gets a huge graphics performance increase, faster CPU performance, Thunderbolt 3 and a brighter Retina display with support for 1 billion colours". Among the many surprises headed, we have kiffé the new iPad Pro. Although there's now only one Geekbench result for it, here too it points to a 9.5 percent improvement on the 2016 equivalent, which featured a 2.6GHz Core i7 sixth-generation processor.

Meanwhile the 13 inch and 15 inch versions of the MacBook Pro have also been updated.

It will feature up to 18-Core Processors, 22 Teraflops of GPU Performance, Fast Storage and Advanced I/O. There are four Thunderbolt 3 ports and 10GB Ethernet.

Apple showed off the line: 21.5-inch iMacs start at $1,099 (roughly converting to £850 and AU$1,470). It has designed an "innovative thermal architecture that gives iMac Pro 80 per cent more cooling capacity", so you can enjoy the extreme performance in a slim iMac design.
