The massive success of the movie could usher in so many great changes to Hollywood films and culture in the future.
Gal Gadot plays a superhero on the big screen in "Wonder Woman", but in some ways she was a real-life one while making the movie.
The popularity of Wonder Woman cannot be overstated nor can the popularity of Gal Gadot. And yet, for some reason, it appears that Warner Bros. didn't have director Patty Jenkins sign a contract that included an option for a Wonder Woman sequel.
In addition to Wonder Woman, this weekend brought with it the debut of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Move. "Patty Jenkins and her exceptional cast and crew-led by the incomparable Gal Gadot-delivered a Wonder Woman that is true to the aspirational hero". She wrote, "Ok people, I just left the theater and KNOW for CERTAIN that the GODS have seen fit to BLESS us with #WONDERWOMAN. W.O.W".
But director Patty Jenkins saw the situation for what it truly was.
The most significant moment comes when Prince makes a statement from the Amazonian treatise on love and sexuality: "It was decided that although men are required for procreation, when it comes to pleasure they are unnecessary". As someone who has watched this movie more than anything else since its release, I can safely say that the joy of it never wears off.
"I got to see Wonder Woman by myself weeks ago, so shut up, there's already been a man-only screening". It's a attractive story to tell, an important time to tell it and with people that I love.
Well, it's official: Wonder Woman is a certified HIT.
